ROOM IN THE THE INN

Each year 37,000 homeless people die in the U.S. Most die because of inadequate shelter and exposure to the elements. The Goal of Room in the Inn is to off er people who are experiencing homelessness are a warm, safe and welcoming place to eat, rest and refresh their spirits.

Volunteers are given an opportunity to share in this holy hospitality. St. Louis Church is hosting the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month beginning November thru March (Except in January our dates at January 7 and 2l). This takes place at Christ The King Lutheran Church - 5296 Park Avenue.

WE NEED YOU!

Volunteering with the RITI helps us to refocus on what is important and reminds us that we are all children of God. We usually host 14-15 people that include women, men and children. The need is greater than ever, especially with so many government cutbacks.
